Frequently Asked Questions
All my cakes and cupcakes are available in vanilla and chocolate (or red velvet upon request) with a variety of fillings to choose from including Biscoff (cookie butter), Nutella (Plantella), Salted Caramel, Raspberry jam, Strawberry jam and others.
You can also find me at events and food markets throughout the year, where you can try unique cupcake flavours that are not available on the website. Event details are posted on my Instagram @Kind_desserts_au
Cakes: You can choose your favourite colour palette, and if you have any images of the design you like, I could try my best to match it. However, I can’t guarantee it will be exactly the same. You can also choose the flavour and filling of your cake.
Please note I don’t work with fondant. I may only use fondant for small decorations and toppers.
Cupcakes: I make decorated cupcakes. Just let me know what the event is (birthday, baby shower, etc), choose your favourite colour palette and filling, and let the rest up to me.
Additionally, I also offer cupcakes with customised logo toppers. Cupcakes with edible logo topper have an extra cost, please fill out the contact form to receive a personalised quote.
Yes, a minimum of one dozen (12) standard-size cupcakes, or two dozen (24) mini cupcakes.
Cupcakes: For a minimum order of 12 standard-size cupcakes or 24 mini cupcakes, please place your order at least 3-4 days in advance. For larger orders, please place your order at least one week in advance.
For corporate events please place your order at least one week in advance. If you need your cupcakes earlier than this, send me a message and I’ll see how I can accommodate you.

For larger events, such as weddings, I recommend placing your order at least two to three months in advance for best availability.
All my treats are 100% vegan, which means that no animal products are used in my baking. Therefore, my treats are dairy free and egg free. They can be gluten free upon request.
You can pick up your order from Williams Landing, or I can deliver it to you from an extra fee ($10). Please note that deliveries are within Melbourne Metro only.
Cupcakes: can last up to 4-5 days if kept in an airtight container at room temperature (unless it’s a hot summer day, then you want to keep them in the fridge). They can be stored in the fridge (in an airtight container) for up to a week.
Cakes: You can keep your frosted cake in the fridge before you serve it (to prevent buttercream from melting). After cutting the cake you can gently wrap it well in cling film before storing back in the fridge. This will keep the cake moist and prevent it from drying out. Keep the cakes out of direct sunlight as this can melt the buttercream.
I understand that plans can change, and I’m happy to assist you when possible. If you need to cancel your order, please do so as soon as possible.
For orders cancelled more than 3 days before the scheduled pick up or delivery date, you will be refunded the full amount paid.
For orders cancelled within 72 hrs of the scheduled pick up or delivery date, a 50% cancellation fee will be retained.
For orders cancelled within 24hr of the scheduled pickup or delivery date, a refund will not be provided.
Please note that for larger events like corporate events or weddings, a 50% deposit will be required to secure your date. This 50% deposit is not refundable.
Due to the nature of the products, no refunds will be offered for orders that have been completed and picked up or delivered.
Once you have collected/received your order, it is no longer my responsibility for any damages that may occur. This includes damages that may occur during transport or at a venue, as well as damages that may occur due to incorrect storage.
